CHAPTER FOURTEEN

The Reawakening of Alliance of the Eclipse

ur Interviewer meets Ambi in Threshold, and waits as she tasks new dreamers push. Our Interview sorts out and organizes her ever-growing stack of notes, dodging the conversation saturated with puns, sarcasm and dry humour. Finally, after serving the others who wait for her time, Ambi whispers to Calysto the story of the opening of the Alliance of the Eclipse. Our interview starts scribbling, notepad balanced on knee, when Nziri conjures up a writing table and chair for her use. Our Interviewer thanks Nziri, and continues to write.

"It all started about 8 months ago during my first two weeks dreaming. The three open houses at the time OoSM HC and DoL agreed to do no initiations for two weeks.

"Well, there were about 2,000 dreamers then as opposed to the 800 today and it was a busy place during the Great Awakening. At the time there was no where to hunt because of the competition and I didn't like hunting.

"I was told the houses could advance you without fighting so I wanted to join. However they wouldnt let me in due to the treaty. When at last they opened up for initaition... about 1500 wanted in, of course there was not time or room for 1500 so most of us were told to wait another two weeks. I was very mad so I swore I would do something to spit on them, I would open my own house.

"I had no idea for beliefs until I met boggen one day being beaten up. I quickly learned that mare sympathizers got alot of attention and that alot of people felt that way, so I spent time with them learning. When I learned enough I began gathering people to form a house, Nziri joined me at that point. we spent the next two months telling people we would have a house. I picked AoE because i liked the color and I, well, we almost didnt get the house. Another group was told by Sabra and Yog-Ka they could have AoE. So Nziri and I set to work to join them or beat them."

The group proceeding AoE was called the Seekers of Enlightenment?

"Yes."

I remember reading that you chose Fayd's fortress for a while to meet in.

"Yes, that backfired though. People attacked us during both meetings we had there. And it wasn't nice so we moved to fantasy falls quietly. Fantasy falls was nice, but it had the drawback of people going on the wrong side of the falls and not being able to hear the meetings so we finaly moved to the AoE threash and steps. About a week after we moved there the darkmare Sagnath met me in lambent flats and led me up to the house and told me it was to be opened by us.

"Anyhow, Damath showed up and initiated me, Nziri was to be next but she demanded to be a instant ruler infront of about 80 people and he shot her down on the spot. So it took a little while to get her in like she should be:) I'm glad to say she made it."

Brother Timothy shared the following tome with our interviewer, containing the six original beliefs of Seekers of the Enlightenment.
